Project Linus blanket

Hello dear readers,

Today, I would like to talk about my project Linus blanket. I have been working on this blanket for over a month now. I’ve decided to make this blanket because I felt that the project Linus was a great program that actually helps a lot of people.

Project Linus is a charitable donation project where you donate blankets, any kind of blankets, that will be given to children in difficult situations such as cancer wards, domestic violence shelters and other locations.

I decided to make this blanket in a camo color way. I’m pretty sure that most makers are female. I also assume that many people make these project Linus blankets out of colors and color ways that appeal to them. I wanted to make a blanket for a boy. I wanted him to see this blanket and think this was made just for me. So, that’s what I’ve been working on for the last month.

When I started this project I started it as a traveling project. That means that I worked on it while I was commuting to work. Since I live in Japan, I’d commute to work on the train and buses. This gave me a great chance to spend at least an hour a day working on the project. However, as it grew it became more and more difficult for me to hold the project and carry the project with me as I traveled. I also worked on the project in the beginning at coffee shops and outside.

Now that my project is so big, I have to work on it sitting down and usually in my home. Since that situation began, I haven’t been making as much progress as I was making before. This is leading me to be slightly delayed in my expected project time. I’m going to continue working on this blanket until either I run out of yarn or I consider it to be complete.

And I really think that you should make one yourself it’s very meditative be cause I’m doing it in basic garter stitch and it’s good knowing that it’s gonna go to somebody who needs the help. I will provide a link to the project Linus website. They also have a Facebook and are a tag on Twitter and Instagram. Please consider making your own blanket in order to help others. It’s important to help people. if you have time, if you have money, you should help others that’s what I’m doing with my project Linus blanket. I'm donating my time and efforts.

Thank you dear readers,

Miss Chris
